The Board of Directors of Ben Thanh Trading and Service Joint Stock Company has dismissed Mr. Tran Huu Hoang Vu from his position as General Director after 9 years in office. Simultaneously, there has been a change in the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

According to a decision by the Board of Directors of Ben Thanh Trading and Service Joint Stock Company ( Ben Thanh TSC ), Mr. Tran Huu Hoang Vu will no longer hold the position of General Director or legal representative from January 1, 2025.
Mr. Vu is obligated to hand over all company files, documents, certificates, and assets to his successor. Mr. Vu's successor is Ms. Nguyen Viet Hoa, the chairwoman of the board of directors of Ben Thanh TSC .
After assuming the position of CEO at the beginning of the new year, Ms. Hoa will also transfer the chairmanship of the board of directors to Mr. Pham Hoang Liem, according to a recent decision by the board of directors .
Previously, Mr. Tran Huu Hoang Vu submitted his resignation on December 12th, after 9 years in the "hot seat" of general director.
In his resignation letter, Mr. Vu stated that, as the general director and legal representative of the company from the beginning of 2016 until now, he has wholeheartedly worked with the management team to achieve and surpass the targets set by the shareholders' general meeting.

With the aforementioned major changes, the new board of directors of Ben Thanh TSC includes Mr. Pham Hoang Liem - chairman, and 3 members: businesswoman Truong Nguyen Thien Kim (wife of Mr. To Hai - general director of Vietcap Securities), Ms. Bui Thi Thu Thuy, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuong Nga.
Previously, at this year's annual general meeting of shareholders, Ben Thanh TSC elected 5 members of the board of directors , including 1 independent member, and 3 members of the supervisory board for the term 2024 - 2029.

According to its annual report, Ben Thanh TSC primarily operates in the fields of commerce, real estate services, and financial investment; with commercial business areas located in Ben Thanh East Center (Ben Thanh Market), Dan Sinh Center (Dan Sinh Market), etc.
In a decision by the company's board of directors on December 20th, the business approved the termination of operations at its branch in Ben Thanh West Shopping Center.
