Bat Trang held a dialogue with 68 households regarding compensation, support, and resettlement for the Ngoc Hoi Bridge project.

On December 11-12, at the Chu Xa village cultural house, the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board, the People's Committee of Bat Trang commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Trang commune, and relevant agencies organized a dialogue with 68 households to receive and address feedback on issues related to land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement for the project in the area.

Specifically, project TP1.2: Compensation, support, and resettlement in Gia Lam district - now Bat Trang commune, is part of the investment project to build Ngoc Hoi bridge and approach roads at both ends of the bridge.

During the dialogue, representatives from the Project Management Board and specialized departments of the commune provided comprehensive information on the scope of land acquisition; compensation and support policies for crops, structures, and assets attached to the land; regulations related to livelihood stabilization and job retraining; and specifically addressed each group of people's requests in accordance with current laws.

Many of the households' opinions focused on determining land ownership, compensation rates for different types of crops and assets; support for cases involving an increase in household size; and support for job retraining…

All the issues raised were received and compared by the specialized agencies of Bat Trang commune with the regulations of the 2024 Land Law, decrees and guidelines of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , and the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment to provide public and transparent explanations.

At the dialogue session, Vice Chairman of Bat Trang Commune People's Committee Do Thanh Thuan affirmed that the implementation of the Ngoc Hoi Bridge project is of great importance in completing the transportation connection in the East-South area of ​​Hanoi, opening up opportunities for socio -economic development for the locality. Therefore, the commune pays special attention to land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement, ensuring compliance with regulations and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people. The commune will continue to publicly and transparently provide information, coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure compliance with regulations, and harmonize the interests of the State, the community, and the people; at the same time, it hopes that households will create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly and on schedule.

The dialogue took place in a democratic and frank atmosphere. 100% of the households expressed their agreement with the project's implementation plan and hoped that the relevant authorities would continue to support and guide them so that the process of declaration, counting, and compensation payment would proceed smoothly and on schedule.
