Vietnam Women's Futsal Team leaves for SEA Games 33

VHO - On the morning of December 10th, the Vietnamese women's futsal team departed from Ho Chi Minh City to travel to Thailand to participate in the 33rd SEA Games. The entire team aims to give their best performance and strive for the best possible results to bring glory to the nation.

At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese women's Futsal team will open their campaign with a match against Indonesia on December 12. Before that, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang attended a pre-tournament press conference on December 11.

On December 14, Thuy Trang and her teammates will continue to face Myanmar in the second match.

Before leaving for Thailand, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang announced the list of 14 athletes selected for the journey to conquer the regional arena this year.

VHO - The Vietnamese women's Futsal team has just gathered in Ho Chi Minh City and started the journey to prepare for the women's Futsal event at the 33rd SEA Games, taking place in December in Thailand. Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team are making efforts to have thorough preparations for the goal of achieving the highest results at the regional congress.

Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said that the Vietnamese women's Futsal team had made careful preparations before entering the 33rd SEA Games.

Sharing before departure, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang expressed: “My team and I are ready. At this Congress, there are many athletes in the team participating in the SEA Games for the first time, but the coaching staff will do their best to help them compete well.

The players are always confident and united to overcome difficulties. We hope that fans will continue to accompany and cheer us on - that is a great source of motivation to help the whole team play better."

The goal of women's Futsal at SEA Games 33 is to compete for the gold medal with host Thailand.

Veteran player Tran Thi Thuy Trang, who is preparing to enter her sixth SEA Games in her career, emotionally shared: “My emotions are hard to describe: nervous, proud and full of determination. Looking at the national flag on my chest, I clearly feel my responsibility. Months of hard training have brought me here and I want to enter the tournament with the highest fighting spirit.”

Thuy Trang continued: “I hope the best will come to the women’s Futsal team in particular and the Vietnamese sports delegation in general. Every wish, every cheer, whether from home or in the stands, is the motivation for us to overcome the pressure and compete with all our might.”

The goal of the Vietnam Women's Futsal Team at SEA Games 33 is to focus on each match, first trying to pass the group stage. After completing this goal, the coaching staff and players will calculate to aim for the highest achievement.
