The Vietnamese women's national team is actively training in Germany.
Following their victory over the Covid-19 pandemic at the Asian Championships and qualification for the Women's World Cup, the Vietnamese women's national team successfully defended their SEA Games 32 gold medal, setting a SEA Games record with four consecutive championships.
That success is the result of years of persistent preparation, spanning generations of coaches and players, most notably the hero Mai Duc Chung, to conquer the World Cup dream.
Fortunately, Vietnamese women's football has not been alone on this journey, always having enthusiastic partners like Red Bull, a brand of TCP Vietnam Co., Ltd., ready to "fuel" the passion of the girls, aiming to achieve milestones that will enrich the history of Vietnamese football.
At 11:15 PM on June 24th (6:15 PM local time) at the Bieberer Berg Stadium, the Vietnamese women's national team will face the world's leading team, the German women's national team - currently ranked 2nd in the FIFA rankings, 30 places higher than us.

The fact that a leading contender for the 2023 Women's World Cup enthusiastically accepted the invitation to play a friendly match demonstrates the world's recognition of Vietnam's significant development in recent years.
Coach Mai Duc Chung stated his mindset very clearly: "Vietnam's match against the German women's team is mainly to learn. I know that the level of German football is much higher than Vietnam's, so the goal is to gain experience, so that when we face the US or Netherlands women's teams at the 2023 World Cup, it will be less difficult."
During their special training camp in Europe, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team played three friendly matches: winning against the Eintracht Frankfurt youth team 2-1, winning against German third-division club Schott Mainz 2-0, and losing to the Polish U23 team 1-2.
Coach Mai Duc Chung said that the Vietnamese women's national team players improve when they compete against opponents who are more skilled, taller, and have better physical fitness.

On the afternoon of June 27th, Red Bull, a brand of TCP Vietnam Co., Ltd., is scheduled to collaborate with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to organize a farewell and motivational event for Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team before they depart for New Zealand to prepare for the first-ever Women's World Cup.
