The event was organized by Dong Nai General Hospital in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City and the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai province, marking an important turning point in community health care.

According to Mr. Pham Le Nhat Minh, Deputy Director of the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital, Dong Nai is a bright spot in the voluntary blood donation movement. In 2024 alone, the province contributed nearly 38,000 units of blood, equivalent to about 25% of the total blood volume received by Cho Ray Hospital. The opening of the fixed blood donation point model not only creates a stable blood source but also serves as a stepping stone to expand the model to other provinces from 2026.

Chairman of the Dong Nai Red Cross Society Nguyen Tan Hung affirmed: the new model helps people easily access and proactively participate in donating blood, thereby regularly supplementing the blood supply for hospitals. The Society will ensure the rights of blood donors and promote propaganda to spread this spirit of charity.

The blood donation site is fully equipped with equipment and human resources, creating a safe and convenient environment for people. On the opening day, many units of blood were received.
