Dong Nai: For the first time, the budget revenue reached 100,000 billion VND.

For the first time, Dong Nai province reached the state budget revenue milestone of 100,000 billion VND, reaching 134% of the estimate; this is an important milestone, thanks to the province's drastic implementation of solutions and the participation of the entire local political system.

On December 9, at the opening session of the 8th session of the 10th term Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, said that 2025 is a particularly important pivotal year, marking a historical turning point when Dong Nai province implements the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, opening up a new development space with a larger scale in terms of area, population and economy .

That context places heavy and unprecedented tasks on the entire political system, including having to deal with a huge amount of work from arranging the apparatus, stabilizing the ideology of cadres, party members and people; and focusing on leading the completion of the goals and tasks of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution and the Provincial People's Council Resolution for the 2020-2025 term.

But with high political determination, proactiveness, flexibility and creativity, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and sectors have synchronously and resolutely implemented solutions to restore and develop the socio-economy.

As a result, GRDP increased by 9.63%, exceeding the Government's target by 1.13%, among the localities with the highest growth rate in the country; economic scale reached nearly 751,000 billion VND; industrial production increased by 15%; export turnover was over 34 billion USD, trade surplus of 8.4 billion USD.

In particular, Dong Nai's budget revenue reached about 100,000 billion VND, equal to 134% of the estimate; total social investment capital was nearly 180,000 billion VND; FDI attraction was 3 billion USD.

“The above results create an important foundation for Dong Nai to complete the socio-economic development plan for the 2021-2025 period; strongly consolidate the trust of people, businesses and investors; at the same time, open up new space and motivation for the 2026 plan and the 2026-2030 period,” said the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Nai province.

Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that up to now, the province has completed the auction of 4 land plots with the winning bid of 9,476 billion VND. It is expected that the province will continue to auction 6 more land plots on December 18 and 2 other land plots on December 25 to complete the target of collecting 21,000 billion VND from land auctions, contributing to completing the overall target of budget revenue in 2025 reaching 100,000 billion VND.

Regarding the results of implementing the Resolution's targets, Mr. Le Truong Son said that the whole province has 6 targets exceeding the Resolution's targets, including: Export turnover increased compared to 2024; Total social development investment capital; Total state budget revenue in 2025; Industrial production index (IIP) increased compared to 2024; Total retail sales of goods and service revenue increased compared to 2024; and the Civil Judgment Enforcement target.

Besides, one target did not meet the Resolution's target, which is "Total electricity growth rate in the province in 2025". The remaining targets all met the Resolution's target.

In 2026, Dong Nai province will deploy and concretize programs and action plans to implement the Provincial Party Congress Resolution and 7 resolutions of the Politburo.

Restructuring the economy in conjunction with renewing the growth model, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness, and strengthening the resilience of the economy. Promoting regional linkages; effectively and synchronously implementing regional planning, national sectoral planning and provincial planning; developing the economy in conjunction with implementing social progress and equity, focusing on improving the material and spiritual life and health of the people...

“In 2026, Dong Nai will focus on promoting digital transformation and developing modern commercial infrastructure such as Free Trade Zones (FTZs) and logistics centers. Regarding energy, we will focus on removing obstacles in implementing key power projects, encouraging investment in developing renewable energy, green energy, and charging infrastructure, ensuring safe and stable electricity supply to serve socio-economic development and people's daily needs,” the Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

Regarding specific goals, Dong Nai strives for a GRDP growth rate of 10% in 2026; state budget revenue of 10-12% compared to 2025; total GRDP in the area of ​​749,455 billion VND; average income per capita of 163.9 million VND.
