DongA Bank Limited (DongA Bank) has just officially announced its name change to Vikki digital bank (Vikki Bank), according to the decision of the State Bank.

Along with the name change, DongA Bank also moved its headquarters from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi .

Previously, on January 17, the State Bank held a ceremony to announce the Decision on compulsory transfer of DongA Bank to Ho Chi Minh City Development Bank ( HDBank ).

After the transfer, DongA Bank will be a one-member LLC with 100% charter capital owned by HDBank.

DongA Bank was established and officially put into operation in July 1992. By August 2025, Dong A Bank was put under special control by the State Bank due to violations in financial management and credit granting by a number of former leaders and managers of the bank.
