Held at the Hoa Lo Prison historical site ( Hanoi ) on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, the thematic exhibition "The Triumphal Song Resounds Forever" is not only a destination for Hanoi residents but also attracts a large number of international tourists to visit and learn.
From the very first days of the exhibition, the historical site has welcomed thousands of domestic and international visitors. Many international tourists expressed particular admiration for the vivid and emotionally rich display, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the indomitable fighting spirit of the people of Hanoi.
Maria Lopez, a tourist from Spain, shared: “After visiting, I was deeply moved by the images depicting the struggle of the people of Hanoi. The exhibition is impressively designed. I felt the national pride of your country.”
Daniel, a British tourist, said that he had only known about the war in Vietnam through books and newspapers, but after seeing the documents here, he understood it more clearly. He couldn't believe how quickly the city had recovered; the war was truly brutal, but Hanoi today is beautiful and friendly.

The exhibition "The Triumphal Song Resounds Forever" is divided into three parts: "Steadfastness and Determination," "Hanoi - The Day of Victory," and "The Charm of Hanoi," guiding viewers through the journey from the early days of the resistance to the moment the victorious army entered the capital and the image of Hanoi today: elegant, peaceful , and modern.
The exhibition, themed "Unwavering Determination," recalls December 1946 – the moment when the army and people of Hanoi responded to President Ho Chi Minh 's Call for National Resistance, bravely fighting to begin the resistance against French colonialism.
The section "Hanoi - The Day of Victory" introduces documents about the period after the Geneva Accords, when Hanoi was part of the French army's 80-day troop concentration zone. During this time, the enemy sought to sabotage the economy and culture and entice people to migrate to the South.
The exhibition "The Charm of Hanoi" showcases the harmonious blend of the ancient and the modern in the capital city – a place where historical and cultural values converge with a dynamic lifestyle. Local specialties and traditional crafts contribute to creating a beloved Hanoi, rich in unique character.
The exhibition "The Triumphal Song Resounds Forever" will run until November 6th at the Hoa Lo Prison Historical Site, 1 Hoa Lo Street, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi.
