Leaders of Duc Tho district ( Ha Tinh province ) and Tha Pha Bat district affirmed that they will continue to strengthen and cultivate the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos, ensuring it remains ever-lasting and enduring for generations to come.

A delegation from Thaphabat district, Bolykhamsay province (Lao People's Democratic Republic), led by Comrade Som Sot Seng A Phon - Secretary and District Head, recently visited Duc Tho district to extend New Year greetings to the leaders and people of Duc Tho on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 (Year of the Dragon).

Comrade Som Sot Seng A Phon expressed gratitude for the special affection that the leaders and people of Duc Tho district have shown to the people of the Lao ethnic groups in the past. On behalf of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of Duc Tho district, District Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Dong expressed his joy and pride in the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States, and the peoples of Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Duc Tho district and Tha Pha Bat district, which has been continuously strengthened, developed, and become increasingly sustainable.

The Secretary of the Duc Tho District Party Committee also informed the delegation from Tha Pha Bat District about some of the achievements in socio -economic development and the new rural development program in the district in recent times.
