The addition of the Tremor variant to the Everest lineup was announced shortly after the Ranger Tremor was launched. The Everest also received similar upgrades, giving it a more rugged and aggressive look.
In terms of exterior design, this version features a new honeycomb grille, a steel skid plate, robust side steps, and prominent orange Tremor decals against a military gray paint scheme.
Inside the car, the leather seats are embossed with the Tremor logo, there are all-season floor mats, and black trim details.
A standout feature of the Everest Tremor is its black rims paired with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires, designed to enhance off-road traction. Additionally, it boasts highly responsive Bilstein shock absorbers and a new leaf spring system that increases ground clearance by 26mm.
The vehicle is equipped with a Rock Crawl mode, similar to the Ranger Raptor, to conquer rough, rocky terrain.
The Everest Tremor variant is only equipped with a 3.0L V6 turbodiesel engine, producing 247 horsepower and 600Nm of torque. The maximum towing capacity of 3,500kg remains unchanged. Unlike the Ranger Tremor, which uses a smaller 2.0L bi-turbodiesel engine, the Everest Tremor's power is controlled by a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
The Ford Everest Tremor starts at AUD 76,590 (USD 51,675) in the Australian market, which is AUD 6,900 (USD 4,655) more expensive than the Ranger Tremor but still cheaper than the Everest Platinum.
Notable optional equipment includes the Rough Terrain Pack with ARB off-road accessories, along with the Touring Pack, Premium Seat Pack, and Towing Pack.
Prior to the Tremor, the most powerful version of the Everest was the Wildtrak in many markets. Ford had previously dismissed plans to make an Everest Raptor, but this stance may change if the Tremor proves successful in terms of sales.
It is currently unclear whether the Everest Tremor variant will be sold in markets outside of Australia.
