The organizers of the “My Vietnam 2025” race said that as of 0:10 a.m. on August 17, nearly 19,000 athletes had registered to participate, including both professional and amateur runners, from both domestic and international sources. This number is expected to exceed 20,000 on August 22, thereby setting a Vietnamese record for the largest number of people wearing red flags with yellow stars in a marathon.

The Vietnam Run is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.

Each participant not only takes part in a sporting event, but also receives a Record-Setting Certificate, turning the race into a special milestone with cultural, historical and national spiritual value.

This year, the race will officially start on August 24 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Vinhomes Global Gate ( Hanoi ), with 4 distances: 42 km, 21 km, 9.2 km and 2.9 km. This is also an activity in the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.

The race will take place on August 24.

In addition to the goal of spreading the spirit of sports, the tournament also contributes to promoting the Vietnam Exhibition Center - a new project in the capital, ranked in the top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world and the largest in Southeast Asia. The event is also an opportunity to introduce to international friends the land rich in historical and cultural traditions, associated with the more than 2,000-year-old Co Loa citadel and the legend of the Crossbow, An Duong Vuong, My Chau - Trong Thuy.

Security and medical work are carefully prepared.

The Organizing Committee also pays special attention to the health and safety of athletes. More than 30 doctors and nurses, 5 ambulances, a team of volunteers (750 people), and a mobile medical team will be on duty along the entire route. Medical stations are arranged along the route with full necessary equipment such as cold spray, pain relief gel, bandages and emergency stretchers. The finish area has a roof, beds and fans to promptly support those who have problems.

Another highlight of the tournament is the green - clean - beautiful message, limiting plastic waste and integrating tree planting activities, towards the spirit of "Fierce Vietnamese spirit - For a green future".

The event was organized by Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, Zaha Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Athletics Federation, UNDP and relevant agencies. The “My Vietnam 2025” race is not only a national sports playground but also a journey to connect the community, arouse national pride and spread a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
