Nearly 700 million VND to support people affected by natural disasters

Mr. Co Tan Anh Vu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, said that the above funds were allocated from the school's budget for organizing graduation ceremonies, welcoming new students, and inaugurating the new academic year.

Mr. Vo Van Thien, Head of the Southern Affairs Committee, received a symbolic check from a representative of the Vietnam Aviation Academy.

According to Mr. Vu, previously, faculty and staff of the Academy had contributed over 200 million VND in cash to be transferred through the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority's Trade Union; the school's Youth Union also called for direct support from its members with an amount of over 40 million VND to support people in the affected areas.
