Speaking at the meeting and commendation ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan extended his congratulations to the students who achieved high results in the 2025 International Olympiads and Science and Technology competitions.

According to Deputy Minister Le Quan, this year's results are very good. Traditional subjects and fields continue to affirm their position. Besides that, we have also achieved high results in many new fields. While in previous years, Vietnamese students consistently demonstrated their strength in some traditional subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, now they have also achieved very high results in technology and engineering subjects such as Informatics, and in science and technology competitions with a high spirit of teamwork, even with the participation of outstanding female students.
Deputy Minister Le Quan noted that the early assignment of scientific research tasks, the involvement of scientists, teachers, and practitioners to support students, and the integration of learning with practical research and career guidance have yielded positive results.
"Looking back over the years, there has been a positive transformation with widespread involvement. The training is not limited to students who have won awards, but is also linked to nurturing elite talents, along with comprehensive training, a roadmap from high school to university and postgraduate studies. Many students who have won international medals have been well-oriented to pursue their studies both domestically and abroad," the Deputy Minister assessed.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Do Danh Bich, Head of the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) delegation and Head of the Physics Department at Hanoi Pedagogical University, expressed his honor along with the responsibility of being a professional. He also emphasized his growing awareness that the success of the students is the result of a long process, guided by the Party's policies, the State's attention, the Ministry of Education and Training 's direction, and the persistent efforts of provincial Departments of Education and Training, schools, teachers, and families.
Associate Professor Dr. Do Danh Bich proposed that the State continue to research and develop national scholarship programs for students who win international Olympiads, linked to key industries and leading universities worldwide. At the same time, mechanisms should be established to encourage and attract returnees, creating a suitable research and work environment and providing appropriate incentives so that they can make long-term contributions to the country upon their return.

Ngo Quang Minh, a 12th-grade student (academic year 2024-2025) from Bac Ninh Specialized High School, Bac Ninh province, who won a Gold Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad, on behalf of all award-winning students, expressed his deepest gratitude to his teachers, friends, and family, who have always been supportive, encouraging, and empowering him throughout his academic journey and in overcoming challenges.
Minh shared that the biggest challenge in her studies was learning to overcome her own limitations. "Without the dedicated guidance of our teachers, we certainly wouldn't have been able to come this far," Minh shared emotionally.
On behalf of all the students participating in the exam, Ngo Quang Minh also extended his most sincere thanks to the patience and unconditional love of his parents, as that is what each of them cherishes more than anything else.
“In our journey towards scientific knowledge, we understand that the challenges have only just begun. Ahead lies a much greater responsibility. Today's success is not the final destination, but only the beginning of a new journey, requiring even more effort to contribute to the country, to science, and to the community.”
