Domestic pepper prices are stable in many major growing regions.
The domestic pepper price market in the early morning of December 8 remained stable compared to the previous morning, with some areas having slight adjustments.
Binh Phuoc (Dong Nai province) recorded an increase of 500 VND/kg, purchasing at 148,000 VND/kg.
Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces (Lam Dong province) purchased at 149,000 VND/kg (highest price).
Gia Lai, Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces maintain the price at 147,500 VND/kg.
Last week, domestic pepper prices decreased by 2,000 - 3,000 VND/kg.

The recent storm and flood caused severe damage to crops in the Central Highlands provinces, including pepper.
Dak Lak has more than 19,000 hectares of perennial crops, including many pepper areas, affected and damaged. The province has implemented the program "Guidelines for post-flood production recovery" to support people in recovering pepper, coffee, and durian trees after flooding and falling.
In Gia Lai, many households reported significant damage. Mr. Ngo Cong Thanh (village 2, Kon Gang commune) informed that his family had more than 500 pepper poles with broken tops, broken poles and young fruits falling due to strong winds of storm No. 13.
There are currently no comprehensive statistics on the extent of damage to pepper growing areas. However, the shaking and uprooting of pepper plants will negatively affect the quality and productivity of the 2026 harvest, which is expected to begin right after Tet (less than 2 months away).
Vietnam's pepper export price remains stable, many markets maintain high levels
The International Pepper Community (IPC) confirmed that the world pepper market was stable in the first week of December. The US market performed positively.
In the latest trading session, according to IPC data, black and white pepper prices from Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil and Malaysia remained unchanged.
Vietnamese black pepper 500 g/l and 550 g/l remained at 6,500 - 6,700 USD/ton.
Vietnam white pepper is quoted at 9,250 USD/ton.
Vietnam’s pepper exports in 2025 set a new record, surpassing 1.5 billion USD. This impressive growth was achieved thanks to high world pepper prices and an increase in deep processing activities.
Although output did not increase sharply, the surge in export value showed the strong recovery of the Vietnamese pepper industry in the international market.
