In the world, the latest pepper price on December 8 continued to move sideways.

Accordingly, the price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia remained at 6,995 USD/ton. The price of Muntok white pepper continued to stay at 9,643 USD/ton.

The price of Malaysia's Kuching ASTA black pepper is currently at $9,000 per ton; while the country's ASTA white pepper is priced at $12,000 per ton.

For the Brazilian market, the price of ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at 6,150 USD/ton.

In Vietnam, the price of 500g/l black pepper is trading at 6,500 USD/ton, 550g/l is at 6,700 USD/ton; and the price of white pepper is at 9,250 USD/ton.

  • Dak Lak pepper price today is still trading at 149,000 VND/kg;
  • Dak Nong pepper price (Lam Dong province) remained at 149,000 VND/kg;
  • Gia Lai pepper price today is being purchased at 147,500 VND/kg;
  • Dong Nai traders continue to trade pepper at 147,500 VND/kg;
  • Pepper price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau (HCMC province) remains around 147,500 VND/kg;
  • Meanwhile, traders in Binh Phuoc (Dong Nai province) are trading at 148,000 VND/kg.

Today's domestic pepper price remains stable with the highest level of 149,000 VND/kg. Last week, domestic pepper price dropped sharply by 3,000 VND.

According to statistics from VPSA, by the end of November 2025, Vietnam had exported a total of 225,009 tons of pepper of all kinds, of which black pepper accounted for 192,899 tons and white pepper 32,110 tons. Export turnover reached 1.515 billion USD, with black pepper reaching 1.249 billion USD and white pepper reaching 262.3 million USD.

Compared to the same period in 2024, export volume decreased by 4.4% (equivalent to 10,326 tons), but turnover increased by 24.4% (+297.6 million USD). Compared to 2023, export volume decreased by 7.7%, but the average export price of black pepper and white pepper increased sharply, respectively 1,767 USD/ton and 2,175 USD/ton.

The largest pepper exporting enterprises in the past 11 months included Olam Vietnam (22,040 tons, accounting for 9.8%), Nedspice Vietnam (19,193 tons, accounting for 8.5%), Phuc Sinh (18,213 tons, accounting for 8.1%), Simexco Dak Lak (13,534 tons, accounting for 6.0%) and Haprosimex JSC (12,993 tons, accounting for 5.8%).

In terms of export markets, the US is the largest market, accounting for 21.7% with 48,849 tons, but down 28.0% compared to 2024. Other markets such as the UAE, China, and India have seen remarkable growth. In contrast, Vietnam imported 40,242 tons of pepper, with a turnover of 252 million USD, a sharp increase of 22.0% in volume and 62.3% in turnover compared to the previous year. The main suppliers to Vietnam are Brazil, Cambodia, and Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Vietnam imported 40,242 tons of pepper, with a total import turnover of 252.0 million USD, black pepper reaching 34,545 tons, white pepper reaching 5,697 tons. Compared to the same period in 2024, the import volume increased by 22.0%; turnover increased by 62.3% and compared to the same period in 2023, the import volume increased by 64.3%.
