On November 16th, the Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Friendship Golf Tournament 2024 was successfully held at Taekwang Jeongsan Golf Course in Nhon Trach, Dong Nai, with the participation of 116 golfers from Vietnam and abroad. This year's event also held special significance as it marked the 30th anniversary of the company's operations in Vietnam.
The artworks put up for auction were created by the children themselves in the "Mizuiku – Preserving Water Resources, Nurturing the Future" painting and photography contest and by child cancer patients in the "Sun of Hope" program.
All funds raised will be used to support the treatment of child cancer patients, as well as other individuals and organizations through the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Poor Patients; and to partner with the "Saigon Times Foundation - Pham Phu Thu Scholarship" program, awarding scholarships to students severely affected by Typhoon Yagi so they can return to school safely and fully. Mr. Jahanzeb Khan, CEO of Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, shared: “Throughout its 30-year journey of operation and development in Vietnam, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam has always been closely associated with its partners and is even more proud to have, through the Friendship Golf Tournament, a platform to jointly create shared values and contribute to the local community. Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam continuously strives to implement many sustainable development programs, among which the Friendship Golf Tournament is an initiative that originated early, continuously developed, and consistently reflects the company's core values, contributing to building a better Vietnam through improvements in healthcare, education , and disaster relief.”
