On November 16, the Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Friendship Golf Tournament 2024 was successfully held at Taekwang Jeongsan Golf Course, Nhon Trach, Dong Nai, with the participation of 116 domestic and foreign golfers. This year's event also has a special meaning, marking the company's 30th anniversary of operations in Vietnam.
In particular, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, together with its partners and businesses, contributed nearly VND3 billion through donations and auctions of artworks with the message “Spreading Hope for Tomorrow”. The artworks to be auctioned were created by children in the photo contest “Mizuiku – Water Conservation, Nurturing the Future” and pediatric cancer patients in the program “Sun of Hope”.
All funds raised will be used to support the treatment of pediatric cancer patients, individuals and other organizations through the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Poor Patients; as well as to support the “Saigon Times Foundation - Pham Phu Thu Scholarship” program, awarding scholarships to students severely affected by Typhoon Yagi so they can return to school safely and fully. Mr. Jahanzeb Khan, CEO of Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, shared: “In the 30-year journey of operation and development in Vietnam, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam has always closely accompanied its partners and is even more proud that through the Friendship Golf Tournament, we have a platform to join hands to create common values, contributing to the local community.
