Without being overly technical or melodically complex, "Sweetness in Love" captivates listeners with its familiar musical language, gentle rhythm, and the soft jazz-influenced arrangement by composer Duc Thuy. From the very first line, "How sweet it is to love someone," listeners are transported into a light, pure, and deeply moving musical space.
Hoang Tung's classical singing style helps convey the lyrics fully and naturally. The song doesn't just stop at everyday emotions, but expands the concept of love with symbolic imagery such as "on the sun-drenched moon," "counting millions of stars amidst the sun," creating a musical space that is both real and dreamlike.

Sharing his thoughts on the song, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung said that he always seeks sincerity and a continuous flow of emotions in music – but must avoid falling into fads or clichés. This is also the direction he has pursued throughout his artistic journey, especially through the compositions he has performed by Nguyen Thanh Trung such as "Oh, Land Blooms," "I Love My Mother," "My Parents Are Old," "Father Leaves for His Son," or the album "Memories of Hanoi" ...
Instead of chasing trends, Hoang Tung chooses to make selective changes to avoid becoming conservative, while preserving his unique musical identity. He confided, "I always have to be myself; I can't always chase after popular tastes."
Besides his role as a performing artist, Hoang Tung currently works at the Voice of Vietnam Radio and teaches at the Military University of Culture and Arts. He also regularly appears in themed performance programs and is pursuing personal music projects with a consistent, meticulous, and clearly defined direction.
