Gladiator 2, Coolie Never Cries, Lynx, Red One, Moana 2 will hit Vietnamese theaters in November

The tragic epic in Gladiator 2 or the horror and dramatic scenes in Lynx - The Devil's Incarnation are two of many works waiting for audiences to enjoy in theaters next month.

Gladiator 2

Continuing the classic Gladiator Released more than two decades ago, veteran director Ridley Scott clearly expressed his ambition to continue telling the epic story through the sequel.

Gladiator 2 will take the audience back to the Roman arena, continuing to follow the life-and-death battles to find glory of the warriors.

Years after the events of the previous installment, Lucius - the grandson of the former Roman emperor Commondus - is now a slave after losing his homeland to tyrants.

He was used as a tool by Macrinus, a notorious slave trader, to curry favor with the emperor.

From royal bloodline to a pawn in the arena of life and death, young Lucius will continuously face fierce battles, the destination is the freedom that the lowly people of Rome at that time all desire.

In the trailer, the audience sees the essence of the ring through the majestic arena scene and dramatic fighting scenes between the participants.

Now the movie also has fierce siege scenes.

After 24 years, the sequel of Gladiator Demonstrating the scale and innovation in production technology, the film is scheduled to be released on November 15.

Coolies never cry

After winning Best First Film at Berlin International Film Festival Earlier this year, director Pham Ngoc Lan's The Coolie traveled around the world for nearly a year before officially releasing widely in his home country of Vietnam on November 15.

Coolies never cry tells the strange story of Mrs. Nguyen's family (played by People's Artist Minh Chau).

After going to Europe to receive her ex-husband's remains, including an urn of ashes and a coolie, Ms. Nguyen returned to Vietnam alone, constantly haunted by thoughts of the past.

Coming home, Mrs. Nguyen discovered that her niece Van (played by actress Ha Phuong) was rushing to get married because she was pregnant with her lover Quang (played by actor Xuan An).

The film's story will be the contrast between the pilgrimage in the past of Mrs. Nguyen, a woman who has lived most of her life, and her niece who is preparing to get married with worries about the uncertain future.

Coolies never cry is a name that is highly anticipated by independent film lovers. Hopefully, the public will warmly welcome Pham Ngoc Lan's work.

Red One

Back to the action and entertainment movies. Vietnamese audiences will celebrate Christmas early with Red One (Code Red) tells the story of the journey to rescue Santa Claus of two Hollywood superstars - The Rock and Chris Evan.

The film is set in a world where mythical characters such as Santa Claus, centaurs, elves... exist parallel to the human world.

From the team behind Demon Dog , Lynx - Possessed is a story borrowed from folk legends about demons - black cats are said to be bad omens, when they jump over the coffins of the dead they will be brought back to life.

The film's "villain" is a black cat with the power to summon the souls of the dead through its yin-yang eyes, causing them to come back to life and haunt the members of a family that makes porcelain inlays in Hue .

Moana 2

November ends with Disney's animated blockbuster - Moana 2 (Moana 2) Expected to be released in Vietnamese theaters on November 29.
