Hanoi is about to organize the launching ceremony to respond to Earth Hour 2025

Within the framework of the event, community interaction spaces will be organized with the participation of many businesses and organizations operating in the fields of energy and environment.

This is not only an opportunity to introduce advanced technologies and products, but also an occasion to affirm the commitment to promoting clean energy in Vietnam.

A special highlight is the creative check-in space, where a model of an old house balcony in Hanoi is displayed, equipped with a solar power system. This space not only has aesthetic value but also conveys a meaningful message about the application of renewable energy in residential areas, encouraging people to take advantage of clean electricity by installing solar panels right on their family balcony.

This year’s event also featured impressive artistic performances. One of the notable activities was the “Green Movement” flashmob, which gathered hundreds of students from many universities, especially those majoring in engineering and energy. The vibrant dances not only conveyed messages about environmental protection and sustainable development but also attracted the audience to join in the bustling atmosphere.

In addition, many other special art performances will also be held to spread the spirit of green living and raise public awareness of the responsibility to protect the environment.

Another interesting activity at the event is the electric bike ride. Participants will have the opportunity to directly experience how to create clean energy through special bikes, which not only charge phones but also light up the LED display board displaying the event's slogan. The organizers will award prizes to those who can ride the glowing bike the fastest and longest, creating a playground that is both exciting and highly educational about renewable energy.

The event was organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and AT Media, with the support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) under the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). The program took place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the same day.

With the theme “Green Transition – Green Future”, the event aims to raise public awareness about energy saving, environmental protection and promote sustainable energy transition in Vietnam.

Earth Hour 2025 is not only a campaign to raise awareness, but also a space to connect the community, encouraging practical actions for a green and sustainable future.
