From now until February 28th, the Hanoi Department of Transport is piloting a traffic reorganization program on Minh Khai Street.
The Hanoi Department of Transport has just announced a pilot program to adjust traffic organization on Minh Khai Street.
Accordingly, vehicles from alley 349 Minh Khai are prohibited from going straight or turning left onto Minh Khai street. Vehicles needing to go towards Vinh Tuy bridge are instructed to continuously turn right and make a U-turn at the Minh Khai - Mai Dong bridge intersection.
The goal of traffic reorganization is to adapt to the current situation on the route and help reduce congestion. (Illustrative image.)
Implement one-way traffic for vehicles at the entrance to Vinmec Times City Hospital (internal road No. 3) in the direction and section from internal road No. 2 to Minh Khai road.
Vehicles coming from Minh Khai (towards Mai Dong bridge) wanting to enter Vinmec Hospital should go straight, then turn right into the main entrance of the Times City urban area.
Install additional rubber bollards at the entrance to Ring Road 2 to restrict vehicles from making U-turns into the Times City urban area. The pilot program will run from now until February 28, 2025.
The Department of Transport has instructed the Department's Inspectorate and the Traffic Police Department of the City Police to deploy forces to coordinate with relevant units to organize traffic flow guidance for vehicles to ensure traffic safety and avoid congestion.
The People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District has deployed the District Police force to coordinate with the Inspectorate of the Hanoi Department of Transport and the Hanoi City Traffic Police to conduct a pilot program to inspect and handle violations of traffic safety regulations, encroachment on sidewalks and roads for business purposes, and illegal parking that causes traffic safety hazards and congestion on roads and intersections.
