(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Along with the remains recently discovered and exhumed in Quang Tri , authorities found artifacts inscribed with the name Truong Thanh Y.
On October 25th, news from the 337th Economic and National Defense Brigade (Military Region 4) reported that the unit's team responsible for collecting the remains of fallen soldiers had found the remains of a fallen soldier in Ta Rung village, Huc commune, Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri province).
Notably, the remains of the fallen soldier were accompanied by an artifact inscribed with the name Truong Thanh Y and the symbol 21/1. During the process of searching the list of fallen soldiers who died in Huong Hoa district, the authorities found a soldier with a name matching that on the artifact.

Specifically, martyr Truong Thanh Y, born in 1948, held the rank of corporal and was originally from Nghia Thinh commune, Nghia Hung district, Ha Nam Ninh province (now separated into three provinces: Ha Nam, Nam Dinh , and Ninh Binh).
The fighting unit was the 304th Division (the steel division on the Quang Tri front and the Southern battlefield).
Martyr Ý died on January 21, 1968, and his relatives are named Truong Van Nang and Hoang Thi Gai. The 337th Economic and National Defense Brigade has issued a notice for units to contact the relatives and search for information related to the martyr's remains.
