First aired on TV Tokyo in 2021, "Pui Pui Molcar" quickly became a sensation thanks to its unique stop-motion animation style. The series revolves around the "Molcars"—cars that are both quirky and energetic, hybrids of guinea pigs and cars.

Each episode lasts only about 2 minutes and 40 seconds, has no dialogue, and features simple yet creative and impactful content. The harmonious blend of entertainment and cuteness has made this series incredibly popular on social media, attracting both children and adults, and becoming one of the most beloved animated franchises in Japan.

This film adaptation, "Pui Pui Molcar Molmax: Pet Turned into a Car," is developed by Shin-Ei Animation, the studio behind the global success of the Doraemon series. Unlike the original, which used stop-motion animation, the new film utilizes 3DCG technology, providing a vivid and immersive experience suitable for the big screen, while still retaining the "super cute" spirit that is Molcar's trademark.

The film is set in an era of technological advancement, where modern Molcar AI machines are gradually replacing traditional Molcars. Users are increasingly favoring these new, tireless machines.

However, amidst the whirlwind of change, Potato and his Molcar friends are drawn into a dramatic chase between a mysterious organization and a Molcar AI named "Canon." Just when things are at their most critical, a mysterious driver appears and rescues the group. From here, Potato and his companions embark on a thrilling and humorous adventure, carrying a message about friendship, togetherness, and the value of seemingly simple things.

Not only is "Pui Pui Molcar Molmax: Pet Turned into a Car" considered a cinematic gift for children at the beginning of the school year, it also promises to bring the whole family adorable and heartwarming moments of relaxation.

The film continues the success of the original series with millions of views on YouTube, affirming the enduring appeal of the Molcar brand globally. With its bright visuals, quirky characters, and entertaining storyline, the film is sure to captivate Vietnamese audiences of all ages.
