Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the Army Youth Committee: Gaining a deeper understanding of the National Assembly.

Responding to the call from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to participate in the online interactive quiz competition "Understanding 80 Years Since the First General Election to Elect the Vietnamese National Assembly," the Army Youth Committee advised the Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army to issue a directive instructing all Youth Union organizations throughout the army to participate online. As a result, all Youth Union members, young people, and Youth Union organizations in the Army simultaneously participated in the competition. The Army Youth Committee was recognized as one of the best units in the country in organizing and conducting the competition; and four out of eight individuals won first prize in the second round.
One of the great meanings of the Competition is that it has equipped young union members with knowledge. Through participating in the Competition, they have gained a deeper understanding of the formation and development of the National Assembly, its activities, and the law in general, thereby helping them in their future practical work as well as in fulfilling the task of building and protecting the Fatherland.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Kim Anh: I am even more proud to work and serve the National Assembly.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the National Assembly was one of the few units with the highest number of participants, with 100% of its members and young people from the National Assembly's agencies, the National Assembly Office, and the State Audit Office participating. They received a Certificate of Commendation from the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and the Central Committee of the Youth Union. This is a recognition of the efforts and dedication of the Executive Committee and the Youth Union officials, as well as the responsibility, solidarity, and unity of the members.
For members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the National Assembly, the competition holds special significance, closely linked to the glorious 80-year tradition of the formation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly. The advantage of these National Assembly youth members is their understanding of the apparatus and operating mechanisms of the legislative body, as they are all officials and employees working directly in the National Assembly's agencies and the National Assembly Office. However, their knowledge of the history and development of the National Assembly may not be entirely comprehensive.
Therefore, the competition helps union members and young people understand and access complete and accurate information about the National Assembly, its milestones in constitutional, legislative, and supervisory work. After the competition, each person feels more proud to work and serve the National Assembly, and more motivated to continue contributing to the cause of building a socialist rule of law state of the people, by the people, and for the people.
First Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Nhat, 2nd Division, 5th Military Region: Motivation to spread knowledge about the National Assembly and the law.

Winning first prize in week 2 of the competition not only brought joy and pride to me personally but also motivated me to continue striving and contributing to the overall emulation movement of my unit. More importantly, participating in the competition helped me improve my understanding of politics and law, grasp the history of constitutionalism, the value of the General Election on January 6, 1946, and the formation of the Vietnamese National Assembly; gain a deeper understanding of the right to vote, run for office, and democratic mechanisms, thereby clearly defining the role of each citizen in building the State.
Through this competition, I have gained a deeper understanding of the responsibility of each citizen in participating in building the State, contributing to democratic centralism and the efficient operation of the political apparatus. Knowledge about the first general election and the ideology of President Ho Chi Minh has helped me understand that each person's vote is not only a right but also a sacred duty to the Fatherland.
In particular, in the atmosphere of preparing for the upcoming elections of National Assembly representatives and People's Council representatives at all levels, I am even more proud to directly exercise my right to vote, choosing worthy representatives with sufficient qualities and prestige to represent the will and aspirations of the people. This also demonstrates our responsibility to the community, to the State, and to our own future.
