This morning (December 5), a working group of the Hai Phong Department of Health, consisting of 25 officers, doctors, and medical staff from hospitals and disease control centers in the East and West of Hai Phong city, set off for Dak Lak to support the locality in overcoming the consequences of the flood.

At the departure ceremony, Dr. Le Minh Quang, Director of the Hai Phong Department of Health, praised the efforts and readiness of medical staff, especially young doctors in the East and West of Hai Phong. "I clearly feel your spirit of readiness to go on duty and help Dak Lak. It is worth noting that the Department of Health has received many proposals to volunteer to go on the journey to support from medical staff and officers. In the coming time, if the Dak Lak Department of Health proposes further support, the Department will call and we will continue to go," said Mr. Quang.

The spirit of readiness of medical forces to go to Dak Lak to support people after floods is very high.

According to the leader of the Hai Phong Department of Health, the mission of the working group in Dak Lak this time is to provide medical support, medical examination and treatment, free medicine, and overcome the consequences caused by rain and floods.

Ms. Nguyen Khanh Huyen (31 years old, Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital) shared: “On December 1, I received an order to support Dak Lak. As soon as I received the order, I did not think twice, I informed my family and they were very supportive. I want to participate in contributing to help the disadvantaged provinces. This is also the first time I have joined a group to support people in flood-affected areas. It is now flu season, so the members of the group have also prepared medicine to increase resistance during this time. According to the group's schedule, the departure will be from December 5 to 7.

According to the reporter of Health and Life Newspaper, in the departure ceremony this morning, all medical staff of the support team were ready to go to support people in flood-hit areas, determined to complete the assigned tasks well.
