Appointment of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital

SKĐS - On the morning of December 5, Nghe An Department of Health and Nghe An General Hospital held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Provincial People's Committee on the establishment and consolidation of the Hospital Management Board, and at the same time announced the personnel of the Chairman of the Management Board.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Dr. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Director of Nghe An Department of Health ; and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and related units.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien presented the decisions of the Provincial People's Committee to the Management Board and the new Chairman of the Hospital Management Board. According to Decision No. 3565/QD-UBND dated November 12, 2025, the Management Board of Nghe An General Hospital consists of 11 members, representatives of the Department of Health, Party Committee and specialized units of the hospital, with a term of 5 years.

The Council is the representative of the Provincial People's Committee at the hospital, exercising important powers and tasks such as: deciding on development strategies, investment policies, organizational structure, personnel work; supervising activities and approving annual financial settlements.

Leaders of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee presented the decision and flowers to the Management Board of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital.

Next, Decision No. 3568/QD-UBND was announced, appointing Dr. Trinh Xuan Nam - Deputy Director of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - to hold the position of Chairman of the Hospital Management Board.

Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien emphasized the particularly important role of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - the final-level general hospital of the province and the North Central region.

He acknowledged the hospital's growth in expertise, management, facilities, equipment and human resources.

The establishment of the Management Board and the appointment of the Chairman of the Board are considered important steps, contributing to perfecting the public hospital management model in a modern, transparent and sustainable direction.

Congratulating the new Chairman of the Board of Management, the Vice Chairman of Nghe An province expressed his hope that Dr. Trinh Xuan Nam and the team will continue to improve management effectiveness and build a hospital that develops in a professional and modern direction.

Mr. Hoang Phu Hien also requested the Board of Management and the entire hospital to maintain medical ethics, improve service quality, promote digital transformation and administrative reform; develop high-quality human resources; expand links with the Central level to master specialized techniques and effectively operate the autonomous mechanism.

The Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province will continue to accompany and create conditions for the hospital to develop into a high-quality medical center in the region.

BSCKII Trinh Xuan Nam - Deputy Director of the hospital - holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Trinh Xuan Nam thanked the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health and the hospital for their trust. He said that the Management Board will operate transparently and scientifically , closely following the direction of the province and the industry, putting patients at the center.

The new Chairman of the Board of Management said that in the coming time, he will focus on improving governance effectiveness; promoting digital transformation; reforming administrative procedures; developing high-quality human resources; and expanding professional cooperation with the Central level.

He hopes to continue to receive support from all levels, together with the hospital staff, to build Nghe An General Friendship Hospital into a prestigious medical center in the North Central region.
