TPO - After completing all stages, the Bach Dang 2 bridge project across the Dong Nai river has reached the final stage of construction to connect the bridge (also known as closing).

On July 11, a representative of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board of Binh Duong province said that the Bach Dang 2 bridge project across the Dong Nai river connecting Tan Uyen city (Binh Duong) with Vinh Cuu district (Dong Nai) has reached the final stage of completion.

The construction unit is trying to speed up to meet the deadline according to the direction of the Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee to complete on September 2.

The construction project of the bridge across Dong Nai River (Bach Dang 2 Bridge) has a total investment of over 490 billion VND from the budget of Binh Duong province.

The project is a balanced cantilever prestressed concrete bridge. The total length of the project is about 2.8km, the bridge section across the Dong Nai River is about 410m long, 17m wide with 4 lanes.

Currently, the investor and construction unit of Bach Dang 2 Bridge are focusing on speeding up the progress. Up to now, the construction volume has reached over 85% of the contract.

According to the reporter's records, the main structure of the construction site is basically complete. On the Dong Nai side, railings and lamp posts are being built; and on the Binh Duong side, the road embankment is being completed.

Bach Dang 2 Bridge project started construction in December 2021. The bridge connects Bach Dang commune (Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province) and Binh Loi commune (Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province).

Recently, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to urgently speed up the progress of key projects in the area. For the project of building Bach Dang 2 bridge across Dong Nai river, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee requested units to make efforts to inaugurate the project on September 2.
When completed and put into operation, the project will help increase the capacity to transport goods and promote socio -economic development of the two localities.
