The Vietnam U22 team will face the Malaysia U22 team at 4 PM tomorrow (December 11th). Before the match, coach Kim Sang Sik said: "After watching the match between Malaysia U22 and Laos U22, I think Malaysia is a team with excellent physical fitness and a very strong playing style."

"However, on the part of the Vietnam U22 team, with good preparation in terms of physical fitness and tactics, and the players' hard work in training, I believe we will achieve the best possible result in tomorrow's match."
"I constantly remind the players that tomorrow's match is not simply a group stage game. Everyone should treat it as a knockout match. Once we've got that mindset, we need a win against U22 Malaysia. Defeating U22 Malaysia is our goal," added coach Kim Sang Sik.
Currently, U22 Malaysia leads Group B with 3 points and a goal difference of 4-1. U22 Vietnam is second with 3 points and a goal difference of 2-1. Therefore, to advance to the semi-finals as the top team in Group B, Coach Kim Sang Sik's team must defeat U22 Malaysia.

To defeat their opponent, the Vietnam U22 team must overcome some of their weaknesses from the past period.
Regarding these shortcomings, coach Kim Sang Sik shared: “In the match against U22 Laos, we created quite a few opportunities but couldn't convert all of them into goals. However, for my team, the first matches in international tournaments are never easy. U22 Vietnam will gradually improve with each game.”
"The Vietnamese national team once lost 0-4 to the Malaysian national team in the Asian Cup qualifiers. I think seeing that result will hurt my young players' pride. That's why they are now eager to defeat the Malaysian U22 team in the upcoming match," the South Korean coach emphasized.
Furthermore, according to coach Kim Sang Sik, a positive sign for the Vietnam U22 team is that the team's morale and physical condition are very high.
Mr. Kim affirmed: “The Vietnam U22 team has a week to prepare for the match against Malaysia U22. Our squad is currently in good shape, and the players' morale is high. They feel confident after winning 3 points against Laos U22 in the opening match.”
"Therefore, there is no doubt that we will continue to win the remaining matches at this year's SEA Games," said the South Korean coach.
