There were no surprises as Nguyen Thuy Linh asserted her dominance, playing superiorly and winning 2-0 (21/6, 23/3) after 32 minutes of competition. In her opening match in this group, Beiwen Zhang (world No. 11) defeated Tiffany Ho 2-0 (21/9, 21/4).

The match between Nguyen Thuy Linh and Beiwen Zhang in the final round of Group K will take place tomorrow (July 31). The winner of this match will advance to the knockout round.
