For the first time, four songs associated with summer memories for generations will be performed together on a symphony stage: "Entering Summer" (Le Huu Ha), "Pink Phoenix" (Vu Hoang-Do Trung Quan), "White Summer" (Trinh Cong Son), and "Singing with the Little Cicada" (Thanh Tung).
Notably, for the first time, People's Artist Tan Minh (tenor) will perform his hit song "Phuong Hong" - a song that was once closely associated with his name - in a symphonic style.
These were the highlights of the " Hanoi Concert: Summer Concert," organized by Hanoi Radio on July 6th at the Hanoi Opera House.
Familiar melodies, once associated with the youth and memories of Vietnamese people, are now reimagined in a symphonic style, offering a completely different experience that is both familiar and fresh, yet highly artistic.
The program also features two works with a strong folk flavor, "The Flute of My Homeland" and "The Black Horse Song," along with world classics such as "Summer" from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" suite, the Scherzo from Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream , " "Farandole" from Georges Bizet's "L'Arlesienne," and "Im Krapfenwald" by Johann Strauss II…

The program features singer Khánh Linh, violinist Hoàng Hồ Khánh Vân, flutist Lê Thư Hương, and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Honna Tetsuji.
According to composer Do Kien Cuong, who participated in arranging many works in the program, "Hanoi Concert: Summer Concert" features songs that audiences are familiar with from smaller groups, but when performed with a symphony orchestra, the effect is significantly different. Because an orchestra of 60 to 100 musicians represents 60 to 100 powerful sources of energy. Therefore, the audience will experience the best possible energy from the music .
With the program "Hanoi Concert: Summer Concert," Hanoi Radio also aims to expand the community of lovers of classical music by refreshing familiar works, combining Vietnamese light music and Western classical music, contributing to building a habit of appreciating quality art among the public, especially the younger generation.

From there, it contributes to making chamber music a vibrant part of modern life, so that symphonic music is not only present in elegant spaces but also spreads and connects with all levels of audiences, building a dynamic and integrated cultural community.
The program will be broadcast live on channels H1, H2, FM96 radio, the Hanoi On app, the website hanoionline.vn , and the social media channels of Hanoi Radio./.
