"Recently, Cuong released some duets in his EP 'Heartfelt Thoughts,' and there have been provocative comments aimed at manipulating public opinion," said musician Nguyen Minh Cuong about his new EP featuring Hoai Lam and Ho Van Cuong.

Recently, musician Nguyen Minh Cuong officially released four duets featuring guest singers from his new EP titled "Tam Tu" (Thoughts).

Reportedly, the four artists who will be contributing their voices to this musical project by the male songwriter are: Hoài Lâm, Hồ Văn Cường, Trung Quang, and Thành Đạt. These four singers will collaborate to perform songs from the EP, offering audiences a completely new experience.

In that video, Hoài Lâm and Hồ Văn Cường sang a duet of the song "Đôi chút tâm tư" (A Few Thoughts). Currently, the song has garnered over 99,000 views after just 3 days of being uploaded to YouTube.

According to composer Nguyen Minh Cuong, having understood the strengths of these two male singers in music, he wrote "A Few Thoughts" in the ballad genre with a lyrical feel, allowing the two singers to fully exploit their rich, emotional, and heartfelt voices.

The duo's duet received mixed reactions from the public. Some viewers praised Hoài Lâm's voice, noting that it conveyed the emotions of a seasoned man through his gentle yet poignant and heart-wrenching singing style.

Meanwhile, although Ho Van Cuong is young, he doesn't create a significant age gap compared to his seniors when performing this song. The voice of the singer from Tien Giang is considered very mature and full of the yearning of a young man growing up.

The collaboration between Hoài Lâm and Hồ Văn Cường on the song "Đôi chút tâm tư" (A Few Thoughts) has sparked debate.

Another segment of the audience expressed strong disapproval in the comments section of the song. Below the video, songwriter Nguyen Minh Cuong stated that he used tools to filter out provocative comments.

He stated: "Because there are so many comments, if anyone spots a negative comment, please leave a dot next to it so those comments appear first, making them easier to handle."

In the latest development, the musician continued to speak out, stating: "Recently, I released some duet songs in my EP 'Tâm tư' (Thoughts), and there have been provocative comments aimed at manipulating public opinion."

The musician asserted that those comments were not from fans of any particular singer. According to Nguyen Minh Cuong, these people only wanted to attack and stir up public infighting, creating a negative environment.

"More than anyone else, I know that true fans who genuinely support a singer always know how to love and protect them in a civilized and cultured way. I've had the pleasure of meeting such lovely fans."

Therefore, I hope everyone will not let negativity creep into our musical and spiritual lives. Let's always support music and love singers in the most civilized way," musician Nguyen Minh Cuong expressed.

Hoài Lâm entered the entertainment industry in 2010 as a contestant on the "Southern Voice" singing competition. Although he didn't achieve a high ranking, he impressed audiences with his sweet voice. After participating in and winning the second season of "Gương mặt thân quen" (Familiar Faces) in 2014, Hoài Lâm became one of the most popular young singers in Vietnam.

The male singer has received many prestigious music awards such as: Dedication Award for "Album of the Year" (2015), Mai Vang Award for "Best Male Solo Singer" (2017), Lan Song Xanh Award for "Singer of the Year" (2017)...

At the end of 2018, Hoài Lâm announced he was taking a break from singing to return to his hometown for medical treatment. In 2019, the singer returned, revealing he had two daughters and stating that during his time off, he worked various jobs such as delivery and ride-hailing to make a living.

At the end of 2019, Hoài Lâm's romantic relationship broke down, and he went into seclusion again. In 2020, after two years away from the stage, Hoài Lâm caused a sensation with the hit songs "Hoa nở không màu" and "Buồn làm chi em ơi" (Nguyễn Minh Cường).

Ho Van Cuong gained attention when he participated in Vietnam Idol Kids in 2016, winning the championship. Afterwards, the singer left his hometown in Tien Giang and moved to Ho Chi Minh City to live and develop his singing career under the guidance of singer Phi Nhung.

In 2017, the singer released the album "Returning to the Western Region" with a series of songs such as: "Still Loving the Bitter Herbs Growing Behind the House", "After the Storm", and "Brother Ba Khia". After Phi Nhung passed away during the pandemic in 2021, Ho Van Cuong took a break from singing for a while before returning as an independent singer.
