On the evening of February 4th, the Huynh Long Traditional Opera Troupe held a cultural and entertainment program to celebrate its brand's success after 7 years of consistently high revenue. This was also an opportunity for artist Binh Tinh to express gratitude to the senior artists who have supported and guided the younger generation of artists associated with the troupe, through meaningful Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts.

Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh emotionally expressed his gratitude for having learned his profession from the Huynh Long troupe.

Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh confided that he is an amateur artist coming to the traditional theater stage, so each valuable lesson passed on by the troupe's artists is an unforgettable memory in his artistic career.

"Every dance move, every ancient opera piece, every way to wear armor and even the ancient opera makeup, I have learned and practiced. I am happy to be with the Huynh Long ancient opera troupe" - Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh said.

People's Artist Hữu Quốc organized a mini-gameshow to find the "King" and "Queen" of the Huỳnh Long brand. In reality, the winners, male or female, still had to showcase their talents by randomly drawing a request to sing a traditional opera piece composed by the late playwright Bạch Mai, improvising with a traditional orchestra, and finally, naming 20 famous artists who had been associated with and grown up in the Huỳnh Long traditional opera scene.

Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh invited his teacher - artist Huu Hue - who taught him about choreography to have a drink at the beginning of spring.

Young artists such as Cao My Chau, Nguyen Cat Phuong, Hoai Nhung, Bao Ngoc, Trong Nhan, Huynh Nhat, Le Khanh, and Hoang Quoc Thanh have overcome the challenges. Even more valuable is that after the competition, they gained a better understanding of the formation and development of the Huynh Long traditional opera troupe – the cradle that has nurtured the talents of many renowned artists.

Artist Cao My Chau shared: "I am very moved, because after many years of collaborating with the troupe, today after 7 years I have the opportunity to learn and understand the seniors in the art of traditional opera. This pride will give me more strength to have firmer wings, to fly higher on the artistic path."

Artist Binh Tinh was moved: "In 2023, the troupe had many tours and was warmly welcomed by audiences at home and abroad. I fulfilled my mother's last wish, which was to maintain the development of the Huynh Long brand. The year of Giap Thin is the year of Huynh Long, so we must strive harder to achieve many new achievements" - artist Binh Tinh said.

In 2023, Huynh Long troupe staged and performed with high revenue through the plays: "Xu an Phi Giao", "Hoan Chau Cach Cach", "That Tien Nu", "Am Duong Tran", "Ngoc Ky Lan", "Tu Trang Khai Xuan". The troupe performed 10 shows in the Central provinces, then toured France to serve overseas audiences with the play "Giang Son My Nhan", and at the same time introduced the stage of Cai Luong Tuong Co to students in Ho Chi Minh City.
