SEA Games 33, December 10-12: Hoping for the first gold medals.

(NLĐO) - The race heated up right after the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games, and the first official day of competition on December 10th will be a crucial milestone for the entire Games.

Football and many other sports have been taking place since before the opening day, but it was not until today that the SEA Games 33 arena really exploded with 32 sets of medals awarded.

Vietnamese sports have reason to be hopeful in several key disciplines with a high chance of winning gold medals. In canoeing, Nguyen Thi Huong will compete in two of her strongest events. In swimming, the finals will take place at 6 PM, and it is highly likely that Tran Hung Nguyen, Jeremie Luong, and Nguyen Quang Thuan will succeed.
