Completed 3,188 km of the main expressway route.

According to the Ministry of Construction, 245 projects and works are eligible for commencement and inauguration on December 19th, with a total investment of over 1.34 trillion VND. These projects and works mainly belong to the fields of transportation infrastructure, engineering, healthcare, education, and housing. These are all large-scale projects playing a crucial role in the socio-economic development of each locality in particular and the country as a whole.

Completed 3,188 km of the main expressway route.

Out of a total of 245 projects, 159 commenced construction and 86 were inaugurated on December 19th. Of these, 39 projects belonged to ministries and government agencies; 42 to corporations and general companies; and 164 to local authorities. Broken down by category, 10 projects were classified as nationally important, 62 as Group A projects, 149 as Group B projects, and 24 as Group C projects. In the transportation sector alone, 78 projects were planned for commencement and inauguration on this occasion. It is expected that by December 19th, the entire country will have completed 3,188 km of main expressways and 1,700 km of coastal roads. Long Thanh International Airport will complete its component projects to begin technical flight operations.
