The important issue is that the delegates shared many valuable experiences in organizing information to accurately reflect the global and regional situation, countering the hegemonic and dominant influence of Western media that imposes and disseminates false information for its own political purposes.
Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi also shared information about the outstanding events in Vietnam in 2025, such as the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam..., including the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism.

We request that the Cuban Journalists' Association and media outlets pay attention to and provide information about these events through information exchange and bilateral cooperation...
The leaders of the Cuban Journalists Association agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, especially with Cuba's readiness to publish valuable Vietnamese documents, books, and newspapers in Spanish; and to send delegations to visit and exchange experiences in journalistic activities.
Thank you to the delegation from the Vietnam Journalists Association for participating in the workshop and for making important statements that drew the attention of the delegates attending this workshop.

In the afternoon of the same day, during the discussion session before the closing of the conference, Dr. Dinh Quynh Anh, from the Professional Affairs Department of the Vietnam Journalists Association, participated in a discussion titled: "Media Manipulation in the Digital Transformation Era and Response Strategies".
Dr. Quynh Anh stated: With the rapid development of technology and advanced artificial intelligence applications, fake news has transformed into sophisticated products that are more difficult to distinguish from the truth than ever before, from videos and fake accounts impersonating famous people to articles produced by AI.
More importantly, fake news, misinformation, and distortions exploit users' curiosity, spreading at an alarming rate on social media and causing serious consequences.
Therefore, identifying and combating fake news is not only the responsibility of journalists and media organizations, but also of the entire society.
Only through close cooperation among all stakeholders can we protect the truth, maintain trust, and build a healthy information and press environment...
On this occasion, the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Nguyen Duc Loi, presented gifts to the Cuban Journalists Association; and the Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Truong Duc Minh Tu, presented gifts to Granma Newspaper.
