Students of all levels return to school on August 22 at the earliest.

Accordingly, students at all levels in the province will return to school one week earlier than the opening day of the 2024-2025 school year. Specifically, students at all levels will return to school on August 29 and first graders will return to school on August 22, two weeks earlier than the opening ceremony.

Based on the content,curriculum and time frame of the school year, the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year is decided to end before January 18, 2025; the second semester will complete the teaching and learning plan and end the school year before May 31, 2025.

In directing the organization of educational activities for the new school year 2024-2025, the recognition of completion of primary school for grade 5 students and recognition of secondary school graduation for grade 9 students will be carried out before June 30, 2025.

The entrance exam for grade 10 high school and the entrance exam for other levels of education for the 2024-2025 school year are required to be organized and completed before July 31, 2025. The high school graduation exams, national excellent student selection exams, and national science and technology exams are carried out according to the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training .

In some special cases when difficulties occur due to natural disasters or extreme weather, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee will decide on the time off from school and arrange make-up classes for students at each level.
