In addition to news reflecting the general activities of the Academy during the day and week, the newsletter also spends most of its time propagating resolutions, directives, and instructions from superiors and the Academy; propagating commemorations of major events and holidays of the country, the Army, and the Service; examples of good people and good deeds; articles fighting to defeat the " peaceful evolution" strategy of hostile forces; and a system of regulations and legal documents.

In the programs, the recording department also included songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, and the Army.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy, said: “Every week, we regularly maintain two programs, each 30 minutes long, broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and rebroadcast on Wednesday and Friday mornings. On occasions of important events or holidays, we will increase the broadcast time. The Academy has a large number of soldiers living in concentrated areas, so the internal radio program has become a very practical and effective "channel" for propaganda and political education , contributing to orienting ideology, raising awareness, and encouraging the soldiers' spirit."

In recent years, on the basis of thoroughly grasping the directives and instructions of superiors on political education work, especially Directive No. 2423-CT/QUTW dated November 9, 2023 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on "Innovation and improvement of the quality of political education work in the new period", the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Academy have strengthened leadership and direction in innovating political education content and programs in a fundamental, systematic and unified direction; closely following the characteristics, requirements and tasks of each agency, faculty and unit; suitable to the level and cognitive ability of each subject; attaching importance to linking political education with dissemination, legal education, traditional education with formal construction and discipline management.

In political education, on the basis of taking learners as the center, the team of political teachers flexibly uses methods, forms of organization, and teaching aids; closely combines traditional and modern methods; between knowledge transfer and experience exchange, between education and self-education; and focuses on promoting learners' positivity, initiative, and creativity.

In addition to maintaining and seriously and systematically implementing the political education regime according to regulations, the Academy also flexibly applies and closely combines the following forms: Discussions, forums, exchanges, conferences, seminars... to effectively promote the models: "Uncle Ho's teachings on this day in history", "Learning a law every day", "Digital skills advisory group"... to enrich the content and political education programs for the subjects.

In the process of implementing political education, there are many good models and creative ways, such as: Model of "Innovation, creativity, application of science and technology in teaching and training"; "Building simulation software to contribute to improving teaching quality"; "Learning to integrate"; "Active teaching methods club for young lecturers"; "Foreign language club"...

In addition to training and improving the qualifications of the political teaching staff, the Academy also actively directs innovation in the content and form of political awareness testing to suit each subject. Diverse testing methods: Oral testing, directly through lectures, old lesson testing, awareness testing through competition, through objective multiple choice assessment on computers, written tests on topics prescribed for each specific subject...

The annual test results show that 100% meet the requirements, more than 90% are good and excellent, contributing to a strong change in the situation of law enforcement and discipline of soldiers, building the Air Defense - Air Force Academy "Revolutionary, regular, standardized, modern", meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
