Vietnam Journalists Association works with Binh Phuoc province on tree planting

Overview of the working session

According to the delegation representative, the coordination of tree planting is a practical activity in response to the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" in 2023 and World Environment Day. In the series of events, there is also the activity of giving gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, with a total value of about 100 million VND. In addition, there are also exchange activities between the leaders of Binh Phuoc province and the Vietnam Journalists Association, leaders of press agencies to promote communication, contributing to the economic, cultural and social development of the province.

Representatives of leaders of departments and branches of Binh Phuoc province attended the working session.

As planned, the activities will be attended by former Politburo member, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh ; leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, leaders of Binh Phuoc province and about 30 press agencies and representatives of businesses.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association and a number of departments, branches and units of the province discussed and reached preliminary agreement on the location, area, type of tree, as well as the plan to take care of the trees after planting. The parties discussed and determined the number of students receiving gifts, the time and place to give gifts to students; the organization of exchange activities between the leaders of Binh Phuoc province and the Vietnam Journalists Association and press agencies.
