(CLO) On January 23rd, at the Provincial Library, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association and the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports jointly organized the Spring Book and Newspaper Fair 2025.
The Spring Book and Newspaper Fair 2025 in Quang Ninh will showcase over 1,000 Spring editions of newspapers and magazines from central and local media agencies, along with thousands of journalistic, literary, and artistic materials arranged and displayed aesthetically and scientifically , promising to become a meaningful destination for people and tourists during the Lunar New Year celebrations.

A new feature of this year's Spring Newspaper Fair is that the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with press agencies, libraries in provinces and cities, and national journalists' associations, has compiled an online library of Spring newspapers. Interactive screens at the Spring Newspaper Fairs, as well as on phones, iPads, and computers, allow the public to easily explore this year's Spring newspaper publications.
In addition, there is an area for displaying and writing calligraphy with a message honoring traditional cultural values; an area for displaying works that won the A prize - National Journalism Award; and a space for artistic book arrangement.
In addition to activities at the Provincial Library, the Provincial Journalists Association also coordinated with the Provincial Library and the People's Committees of localities to organize Spring Book and Newspaper Fairs in 12 out of 13 localities in the province, displaying and introducing central press publications, Spring newspapers from provinces and cities nationwide, and typical Spring newspapers and press publications of the Provincial Media Center and the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association.
On the occasion of the opening of the Spring Book and Newspaper Fair 2025, the Provincial Journalists Association also commended and rewarded authors and groups of authors who won high prizes in the National Journalism Awards and other major journalism competitions and awards of the Central Government.

On this occasion, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with philanthropists, presented a total of 35 Tet gifts, along with computers, to organizations and individuals in difficult circumstances in Dam Ha district and Dong Trieu city; and also presented Tet gifts to families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Dai Loc district (Quang Nam province)... This is a deeply humane activity, demonstrating the social responsibility of journalists, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community.
The Spring Book and Newspaper Fair 2025 promises to be a meaningful cultural event that will contribute to improving the spiritual life of the people; provide a comprehensive overview of the achievements of the country and Quang Ninh province in the fields of economy, culture, and society; spread positive values, and contribute to creating confidence and excitement for the people and tourists as they welcome the new year...
The Spring Book and Newspaper Fair 2025 at Quang Ninh Provincial Library will take place from January 23, 2025 to February 21, 2025.
