On September 24th, at the opening ceremony of the Vietbuild Hanoi 2025 international exhibition, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh emphasized that the Vietbuild 2025 international exhibition is one of the practical activities to celebrate the country's major holidays. At the same time, it is also an activity to support businesses in restoring and developing their production and business activities.
According to the minister, with over 1,000 booths from domestic and foreign businesses, the exhibition will be a place to introduce new products and services in the fields of interior and exterior decoration, construction technology, materials, and smart systems and applied technologies.
Minister Tran Hong Minh highly appreciated the businesses participating in the exhibition with numerous booths and high-quality products to promote their brands, especially Vietnamese brands, to consumers.
Sharing his views on the construction sector, Mr. Tran Hong Minh stated that since the beginning of the year, many strategic infrastructure projects have been developed, creating a turning point for national development. A prime example is the completion of 455km of expressways since the beginning of the year, bringing the total length of expressways in operation nationwide to approximately 2,476km. In addition, the investment preparation for several important railway projects, such as the North-South high-speed railway line and the Vietnam-China connecting lines, has been accelerated.
Regarding the aviation sector, Mr. Minh stated that phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport project is expected to be inaugurated in December 2025.
In the housing sector, the project to build 1 million social housing units in the 2021-2030 period has been actively implemented, with 692 projects nationwide comprising 633,559 units. The real estate market is showing positive signs of recovery, with many large-scale housing, urban, and industrial park projects having largely overcome legal procedural obstacles.
"This is a favorable condition and opportunity for businesses in the fields of architecture, construction, building materials, machinery and equipment manufacturing, and interior and exterior decoration to boost production and business, expand cooperation, and contribute to promoting the socio -economic development of the country," Mr. Minh emphasized.
The organizers announced that the Vietbuild Hanoi 2025 international exhibition will run until September 28th, with the participation of 1,000 booths from 300 domestic and international businesses.
In particular, many businesses introduced new products and advanced technologies to the public for the first time in the fields of construction - building materials, interior and exterior decoration, kitchen and bathroom equipment, smart homes, electrical equipment, etc.
