The 4th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon will officially take place on October 5th, continuing its journey of inspiring healthy living and aspiration for excellence in the community with the familiar message "Run for a superior Vietnam".
As one of the largest annual community sporting events in the capital, this year's race attracted approximately 13,000 athletes from both within and outside the country. In addition to professional athletes, the event also featured celebrities, businesses, amateur running groups, and families. All of this promised to create a vibrant and diverse atmosphere.

The 4th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon will begin in October 2025.
In particular, the fact that the race was held after the 80th anniversary of National Day further enhances its sacred and proud significance. The race is organized by Sunrise Events Vietnam, under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, with strategic partnership from Vietnam Technological and Commercial Bank (Techcombank).
Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, affirmed: "This is one of the key sporting activities of the Capital, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people. Over three seasons, the event has attracted more than 26,000 athletes, showing its strong appeal and widespread influence in the community."

The competition schedule promises to be quite interesting.
This year's race route has been significantly adjusted to enhance the participant experience while minimizing the impact on traffic and the daily lives of residents. The route will take athletes through 37 distinctive landmarks of Hanoi – connecting the depth of its cultural and historical heritage with the rhythm of modern life. From Hoan Kiem Lake, the Temple of Literature, the Grand Opera House to modern buildings, each step is an opportunity to discover a Hanoi that is rapidly transforming while still preserving its thousand-year-old cultural essence.
Representing the strategic sponsor, Ms. Thai Minh Diem Tu shared: " Techcombank is proud to continue accompanying the tournament, spreading a positive spirit, improving health, and connecting the community. Each step is a symbol of overcoming limitations, aiming for a better future for each individual and for the country as a whole."

Over 13,000 people registered to participate in the major race in the capital.
In addition to the official races of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km, this year's event also features a Kids Run – a sporting activity for children aged 5 to 14, with two distances of 1.5 km and 3 km. This activity not only helps children improve their physical fitness but also strengthens family bonds, as parents directly accompany and encourage their children throughout the race.
The event will last for three days, from October 3rd to 5th, 2025, with a series of attractive side activities, promising to provide a complete experience for locals and tourists. The Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is not simply a sporting competition, but also an opportunity to spread a humanitarian message and promote the image of Hanoi – a dynamic, friendly city with a rich cultural identity – to international friends.
