More than 3,000 people walked together "For the poor"

The event is within the framework of the program "Brand connection festival, using products in the industry of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City".

The walking program was accompanied by the direct participation of Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai, along with more than 3,000 people including officials, party members, workers, union members, association members, students and employees of agencies, units, and enterprises inside and outside the Central Agencies Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City. Everyone walked together on the 3.5 km long route right in District 1, the city center.

This is not only an opportunity to exercise and connect with each other, but also an occasion to show the spirit of "mutual love" and "love others as you love yourself".

According to Mr. Vo Van Yen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Block, from 2020 up to now, with its responsibility, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Block in Ho Chi Minh City together with the Party Committees - leaders of agencies, units and enterprises have organized many practical social work and social welfare activities such as installing high-flow oxygen systems and supplying compressed air, donating funds to support medical protective supplies for hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City during the Covid-19 epidemic prevention period; supporting funds to implement the program to care for students orphaned by Covid-19 in districts in the city.

At the same time, installing RO water filtration systems with a capacity of 300L/hour; visiting and giving gifts of encouragement to border guards and naval squadrons; visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and seriously wounded soldiers; giving gifts to poor households and ethnic minority households and awarding many scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies... in Ho Chi Minh City and in disadvantaged localities and border areas in many provinces and cities across the country with a total implementation cost of more than 400 billion VND.
