Recently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) held a ceremony to present 180 sets of student desks and chairs to Phuoc Minh Secondary School, Bu Gia Map Commune, Dong Nai Province. This is one of the outstanding volunteer activities of the School this year, continuing a series of programs aimed at the community - especially students in localities lacking facilities for learning.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Principal of HUFLIT shared:

Each set of tables and chairs is not only a learning tool but also carries the faith, affection and encouragement from HUFLIT lecturers and students to the students ."

Phuoc Minh Secondary School is one of the remote schools in the difficult area of Binh Phuoc province (old) . The learning of students here still faces many shortages, especially the lack of facilities. Therefore, the donation of 180 sets of desks and chairs not only contributes to improving learning conditions, but also greatly encourages the teachers and students here - helping them to be more confident in their journey of spreading letters and receiving knowledge.
HUFLIT always believes that positive changes in education can come from small actions at the right time and place. Starting from simple actions, HUFLIT wishes to contribute to spreading the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community - especially to the generation of students who are striving every day in difficult conditions.

One of the outstanding policies is the diverse scholarship system worth from 15 to 100% of the full course tuition fee , maintained over many years, for many students. Especially in the 2025 school year, HUFLIT implemented the Experience Scholarship , reducing 20% of the full course tuition fee for new students in the following majors: Law, Economic Law, Accounting, Auditing, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, Oriental Studies, Japanese Language and Artificial Intelligence.

In addition to scholarships, HUFLIT also continues to implement the "Student Support Fund" of 13 billion VND each year to create favorable conditions for students to pursue their studies. This is a financial support program exclusively for HUFLIT students, helping students to borrow money to pay tuition without having to pay interest. This is HUFLIT's way of showing concern not only in words, but also through concrete, humane actions.
In particular, over the years, HUFLIT has committed to not increasing tuition fees , in order to maintain stability and share some of the financial burden with parents and students - especially in the context of many economic fluctuations. This is a clear demonstration of the "companionship" philosophy that the school pursues.
All of these policies, from scholarships, student support funds, and commitments to not increase tuition fees, are aimed at one core: helping students not to be left behind due to circumstances.
