Hoa also emphasized that because the 2024 high school graduation English exam does not have a listening or speaking test, while the writing test is "quite simple", those who have a high IELTS score in the reading test will have many advantages, otherwise, they will have difficulty and may not get 10 points.

Studying at the same school, Nguyen Hoang Gia Viet Hung, who achieved IELTS 6.0, said that even if he didn't take the IELTS test, there would still be many students who scored above 8. "After checking the results, I think I will get 9 points. Overall, I found that the test had some 'point-blocking' questions, especially the idiom section. A friend of mine majoring in English also got this question wrong. But overall, it was easy, quite easy, not as difficult as the semester test at my school," the female student shared.

After the 2024 high school graduation exam ends, the exam results are expected to be announced on July 17 and candidates can register and adjust their university admission wishes an unlimited number of times on the Ministry of Education and Training's common system from July 18 to 20. Before 5:00 p.m. on July 22, universities will announce the admission score on the common system and their own websites.
