Hanoi University of Science and Technology opens registration for thinking assessment exam from December 5

On the morning of December 4, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the opening registration time for the first round of the 2026 thinking assessment exam.

Registration for the aptitude test opens from 9:00 a.m. on December 5 to 5:00 p.m. on December 15. Candidates register online at: https://tsa.hust.edu.vn. The expected number of candidates is 25,000. The official test date is January 24-25, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday).

The test scores of the first round of the thinking assessment test are arranged as follows:

Hanoi exam cluster (3 areas, 11 exam locations). Area 1: Bach Khoa - Bach Mai (5 exam locations) - Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National Economics University, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, University of Economics and Technology (Hanoi), University of Water Resources; Area 2: Cau Giay - My Dinh (2 exam locations), Hanoi University of Industry, University of Transport, Area 3: Thanh Xuan - Ha Dong (4 exam locations), Phenikaa University; University of Transport Technology, East Asia University of Technology, Dai Nam University.

Hai Phong exam cluster (2 exam locations): Vietnam Maritime University, Sao Do University.

Hung Yen exam cluster (2 exam locations): Hung Yen University of Technical Education, Thai Binh University.

Quang Ninh exam cluster (1 exam location): Ha Long University.

Ninh Binh exam cluster (3 exam locations): Nam Dinh University of Technical Education, University of Industrial Economics and Technology (Nam Dinh), Hoa Lu University.

Thanh Hoa exam cluster (1 exam location): Hong Duc University.

Nghe An exam cluster (1 exam location): Vinh University.

Ha Tinh exam cluster (1 exam location): Ha Tinh University.

Thai Nguyen examination cluster (1 examination location): Center for Testing and Education Quality Assessment, Thai Nguyen University.

Northwest exam cluster (1 exam location): Thai Nguyen University (Lao Cai branch).

Da Nang exam cluster (1 exam location): University of Science and Technology - Da Nang University.

In 2026, the Thinking Assessment exam is expected to be held in 3 rounds on weekends, each round will have 3-4 teams at 30 testing locations. The exam can accommodate about 60,000 test takers.

Specific information for the exams is as follows:

Phase 1: Exam date 24-25/1/2026; registration date 5-15/12/2025.

Phase 2: Exam date 14-15/3/2026; registration date 5-15/2/2026.
