Calling on businesses and cooperatives to join forces to consume durian

The Department of Agriculture and Environment has just sent a document to business units in the province to register to participate in the chain of durian production and consumption to implement the plan to link, produce and consume durian products according to Decree No. 98/2018/ND-CP of the Government.

Accordingly, enterprises and cooperatives take the lead in linking the production, purchasing, processing and consumption chains of durian in the province; coordinate with agricultural cooperatives, cooperative groups and farmers in signing linkage contracts, ensuring stable product consumption...

This is an activity to implement Notice No. 30/TB-UBND dated August 7, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles and implementing a number of solutions for the durian crop in 2025.

Durian in Ea Ba and Song Hinh communes will officially enter peak harvest season in October.

Decree No. 98/2018/ND-CP on policies to encourage the development of cooperation and association in the production and consumption of agricultural products will support the chair of the association with 100% of the consultancy costs for building associations not exceeding 300 million VND, including consultancy, research on contract building, association projects and production, business and market development plans.

Joint projects are supported with 30% of capital investment in machinery and equipment; construction of infrastructure works such as factories, yards, warehouses, etc. with total support not exceeding 10 billion VND.
