Passengers experience "falling off the track", high-speed train suspended in the air

(Dan Tri) - Siren's Curse roller coaster officially opened at Cedar Point Park (Ohio, USA). This is the tallest, fastest and longest inclined roller coaster in North America, offering the experience of "falling off the rails".

According to PEOPLE magazine, the Siren's Curse adventure roller coaster - advertised as the tallest, fastest and longest "tilted" roller coaster in North America - will officially open on June 28 at Cedar Point amusement park, Ohio, USA.

This thrilling game quickly attracted the attention of the speed enthusiast community thanks to its unique design, simulating the scene of a train car "falling off the track" in mid-air.

The approximately two-minute ride begins by taking riders to a height of 49m by a giant crane tower. At the climax, the train suddenly stops at a “broken” section of track, leaving the train car hanging in mid-air.

The track then tilts 90 degrees, bringing the player into a completely vertical position.

When the rail locking system is activated, the train immediately plunges down the rest of the track at a maximum speed of 93km/h.

As the name Siren's Curse suggests, the game is inspired by the legend of the seductive creatures at the bottom of Lake Erie - said to have the ability to enchant and drag sailors to the bottom of the water with their mysterious singing.

“These alluring mermaids now rise above the ground and take guests on a two-minute, chilling journey using state-of-the-art roller coaster technology,” the park’s press release describes.

Siren's Curse has a total track length of 904m, including 13 "weightless" moments, two 360-degree spins in a state of zero gravity, and a combination of 3 consecutive drops on a twisting and tilting track.

The newly designed train has 24 seats, integrated with a vivid sound system and modern LED lights, bringing a multi-sensory experience to players.

Siren's Curse marks the 20th roller coaster in the lineup at Cedar Point, a popular amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio.

Some other notable roller coasters here include Millennium Force, Valravn and Top Thrill 2 - a triple launch roller coaster that is ranked among the fastest and tallest in the world .

Cedar Point is considered the "roller coaster mecca" of America, constantly upgrading and updating modern entertainment technology. In July 2023, the parent company Cedar Fair merged with Six Flags - creating a giant amusement park group called Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
