At the professional training class, journalists and reporters will be trained to apply technology to convert video tapes and recordings into text saved on computers or phones; Apply artificial intelligence to become a tool for reporters and editors to exploit information and edit 2,000-word articles in 5 minutes; Apply technology to convert online meeting content into text without having to attend the meeting and still take full notes; Apply technology to help field reporters work quickly without having to type articles or send emails, but the editorial office can still see the content and edit articles in text; Apply voice extraction from videos to convert into Vietnamese subtitles or create a voice reading multilingual commentary, for the video and radio fields.

“Applications using artificial intelligence are the product of a process of thinking about how to support and speed up the work of reporters and journalists, while increasing the quality of journalistic works. Artificial intelligence will greatly support in ensuring objectivity, replacing time-consuming work and maintaining the accuracy of the incident,” said Mr. Pham Tan Anh Vu.

Through professional training courses, reporters and journalists at press agencies in Quang Binh had the opportunity to experience and use artificial intelligence applications to support their work activities such as mini computers, audio tape extraction software, etc.

The journalism training course "Application of artificial intelligence in journalism" attracted nearly 40 students from press agencies, television stations, members, collaborators, and individuals from media units and functional agencies.
