This morning (October 27th), at the Ham Tan District Gymnasium, the Ham Tan District Women's Union, in coordination with the Ham Tan District Culture, Information & Sports Center, held the opening ceremony of the 1st Ham Tan District Women's Volleyball Championship 2023.
Twelve teams participated, bringing together over 120 athletes from clubs in 10 communes, towns, and government agencies within the district.
At the opening ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Women's Union and the District People's Committee presented flowers and commemorative flags to the participating teams, and wished the athletes the best of luck in achieving the best results. The tournament took place from October 27-29 at the District Gymnasium, in a group stage format.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the teams began their first matches. After many days of training, with high determination, fair play, and solidarity, the female athletes delivered many exciting matches, beautiful and dramatic plays, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer them on.
