Khanh Hoa speeds up progress of key projects in Van Phong

Khanh Hoa requested the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to effectively implement solutions to speed up the progress of key projects in Van Phong Economic Zone.

Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, recently chaired a meeting with agencies and units on the implementation of key projects in Van Phong Economic Zone.

According to the report of the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Khanh Hoa province, the projects: Dam Mon New Urban Area, Tu Bong New Urban Area, Co Ma High-end New Urban Area are facing difficulties in the process of counting and verifying the origin of land because the People's Committees of the communes lack personnel to coordinate implementation; the resettlement land fund for the Co Ma High-end New Urban Area Project has not been determined.

Regarding the Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Project (construction started on August 19, 2025), the construction unit is currently clearing and cleaning the site with an area of ​​50 hectares; the locality has completed the site clearance of 116.25 hectares in phase 1; and is posting the compensation plan for cases affected by phase 2 (with 170.76 hectares).

For the Doc Let - Phuong Mai Tourist Area Project, the investor is currently implementing the dossier for changing land use purpose, allocating and leasing land in phase 1 (68.5 hectares have been cleared); is selecting a consulting unit to prepare an environmental impact assessment and a feasibility study report...

For the Hon Ngang - Bai Cat Tham Marine Ecotourism Project, the construction of the site leveling, embankment at the foot of the mountain in area C and 3 model villas in area A has been completed; the main traffic route, coastal embankment and other infrastructure items (rainwater drainage, wastewater, lighting, transformer station, etc.) are being constructed. It is expected that by 2028, part of the Project will be operational.

Representatives of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board also reported on the implementation status and next plans of 5 projects in the stage of preparing documents, submitting for approval of investment proposal, and selecting investors, including: Ho Na Tourism and Housing Project (Dai Lanh commune); method of supplementing land use area to expand Hyundai factory phase 2; Ninh Diem Industrial Park 1 Project; Ninh Diem Industrial Park 3 Project; Ninh Xuan Industrial Park Project (1,000 hectares in Tan Dinh commune and Tay Ninh Hoa commune).

At the same time, report on difficulties and obstacles that cause delays in the progress of the projects: Ninh Long Residential Area; Ninh Thuy Residential Area; White Sand Resort; Van Phong Luxury Resort.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam requested the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to effectively implement solutions to speed up the progress of key projects in Van Phong Economic Zone.

Specifically, for key projects that have been approved for investment policy, selected investors, and are being implemented, the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board shall complete a report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, in which it is necessary to clearly state the time for completing the site clearance work ahead of schedule when applying Resolution No. 55/2022/QH15 dated June 16, 2022 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Khanh Hoa province.

For projects in the stages of preparing documents, submitting for approval of investment proposals, and selecting investors, Mr. Nam requested the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to review each project and coordinate with the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to resolve problems appropriately, in accordance with legal regulations, or speed up the progress of projects that have completed procedures.

For projects that are behind schedule, the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board will work specifically with investors to find solutions to remove obstacles or advise the Provincial People's Committee leaders to work directly with investors to review and give instructions to speed up the progress of these projects...
