Khanh Hoa builds criteria for selecting investors for industrial park infrastructure projects

The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Khanh Hoa province has drafted a set of criteria to select investors with capacity, experience and reputation in line with the development orientation of the province.

Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, has just chaired a meeting with departments, branches and sectors on the development of a set of criteria for selecting investors for industrial park (IP) infrastructure projects in Khanh Hoa province.

The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province said that currently, this agency has developed a draft set of criteria to select investors with capacity, experience and reputation suitable to the development orientation of the province.

The set of criteria is built as a basis for evaluation and priority consideration for investors; at the same time, it ensures fairness, transparency and objectivity in the process of approving investment policies for industrial park infrastructure projects.

The criteria will be applied to domestic and foreign investors registering to implement investment projects in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang requested the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board to continue reviewing and adjusting some contents to ensure consistency and reasonableness in the entire draft; complete the dossier, and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide.

After the draft is approved, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee will assign the Department of Justice to review the promulgation format in accordance with regulations.

After merging Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces, the total industrial park land target by 2030 in the new Khanh Hoa province is 2,802 hectares. Of which, the old Khanh Hoa province is allocated 1,120 hectares for 5 industrial parks and the old Ninh Thuan province is allocated 1,682 hectares for 4 industrial parks.

Khanh Hoa province currently has 3 operating industrial parks: Du Long Industrial Park, Phuoc Nam Industrial Park, Thanh Hai Industrial Park, together with Ca Na Industrial Park, which will increase the total area of ​​industrial parks to 1,682 hectares. Along with that, this province has 4 operating industrial clusters including: Thap Cham, Quang Son, Phuoc Tien, Hieu Thien Thanh.

Currently, Khanh Hoa province is accelerating the implementation of industrial park development projects in the area. This is considered a key task to create new growth space for the province's industrial sector.

The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to review and work with industrial park infrastructure investors. Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requires each investor to develop a specific roadmap to attract secondary investors and soon put projects into operation to contribute to socio-economic development.
